Boys & Girls Harbor, a New York City leader in arts infused education, has been transforming young lives for over 75 years. The Harbor Educational Model provides three unique paths with selected activities that foster social and emotional health, academic success, and college/career readiness via exposure to the performing arts.

The Boys & Girls Harbor Preschool is a best-in-class educational experience integrated with the performing arts for ages 18 months—4 years. Our masters-level instructors utilize creative methods to enhance common concepts while molding the kindergarten-ready child.

Arts integration in our extended leaning programs for ages 5-19, accelerates learning and curiosity while building intellectual character. We expose our students to enriching experiences via tutoring, performing arts, athletics, off-site activities, and much more!

The Harbor Conservatory provides professional-level training in dance, music, and theatre for ages 4-adult. Our students go beyond traditional performing arts training with a holistic approach that enables them to gather a body of knowledge and present it in the form of high quality performances.

Your generosity will help fund the Harbor experience for a young person in Harlem. The Harbor Educational Model—delivered by educators and teaching artists in our Emily N. Carey Harbor Preschool, afterschool programs, and Conservatory studios—honors academics and the arts as the cornerstones of teaching and learning.
