As part of a grant awarded by the New York State Council on the Arts, the Harbor’s Guest Artist Series features free concerts by emerging and celebrated artists. Sumiko Tajihi performed on March in the Black Box theater, located at 1 East 104th Street. Violinist Sumiko Tajihi has been widely acclaimed for both her "passionate tone" and "warmhearted sound". She appeared as a concerto soloist with New York Symphonic Ensemble at the Isaac Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall in 2007.
